My kids look forward to decorating for Christmas every year. This is the earliest we've ever set the tree up. (I usually wait until the weekend before and leave it up longer.) 🎄

Last night the kids listened to wacky, emo Christmas music (thanks Cortana), danced, and argued over who would place the last ornament on the tippy top of the tree. ⭐
.
I even got my son to measure the length of the fireplace and make calculations to figure out how to evenly space the stockings (because, type-a homeschool mom here). 🙋🏽‍♀️
.
As passionate as we are about many things in our home (evidenced by frequent heated discussions), we are a family who laughs together. For that I am so very grateful.
.
BTW: If you need a good Christmas Spotify station, I can't really help you. But let me know if you've found one 😊. (The station we played last night was Christmas Rock, which was okay for the first few songs.)
